We are filmmakers driven by insatiable curiosity and drawn to people whose stories require patience and care to reveal what is often unseen.
Our work focuses on environmental conflict, investigative storytelling, and human resilience in complex environments. Over the past several years, we have filmed extensively in Ukraine, returning repeatedly since the start of the full‑scale war. Time spent on the ground has allowed us to build long‑term relationships with civilians, military personnel, volunteers, investigators, scientists, legal experts, and organisations working there. This access allows us to document dimensions of major events that rarely make it beyond the headlines.
Beyond Ukraine, our work continues across Africa, the continent we both call home and where we have filmed widely. Our work has also taken us to the North America and Asia and there is no place we wouldn’t go to follow a good story.
As a filmmaking duo, we work with a small footprint and a high degree of independence. Between us, we bring over forty years of experience in writing, producing, directing, cinematography, drone piloting, and editing. We also collaborate with specialists and service productions when needed.
Working the way we do keeps our productions lean, adaptable, and close to the people and places at the centre of the story.
Our films grow out of careful observation, rigorous research, and our belief that when audiences are invited into the process of discovery, they are capable of drawing powerful conclusions for themselves.
